Anna Kisting is the Executive Director and Owner of Cozy Chair Counseling, a small group psychotherapy practice in St. Peters, Missouri. She leads an immensely talented team of eight other clinicians specializing in trauma, couples counseling, intimate partner betrayal, and relationships. Clinically, Anna specializes in couples and sex therapy, as well as helping clients navigate attachment trauma within their relationships. She is currently 1/3 of Three Couples Therapists, a group of like-minded couples counselors who provide psychoeducation and support when it comes to repairing romantic relationships. She also gets to share the magic of couples counseling by facilitating local Hold Me Tight® workshops, based on Sue Johnson’s theory of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. In addition to helping couples create enthusiastic and fulfilling sex lives, Anna is passionate about supporting the professional development of newer clinicians through supervision and consultation, and frequently supports fellow clinicians working to build their own successful counseling practices.

Most of the time, Anna loves being a married mom with two kids (ages 8 and 5) and two aging dogs. She’s striving to find some sort of balance between her passion for her career and the joy she gets from mom-ing, but still finds this supposed balance to be elusive. Anna enjoys connecting with other therapists and entrepreneurs who are figuring out how to step back from doing all of the things, even though doing all of the things can be incredibly rewarding, especially for an Enneagram Type 3 Wing 2. She just wishes she had more time for jazzercise and sleeping.
